Title | Copy letter from Theodore E James, to Professor John Rose Bradford, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 7 September 1903 |
Description | Is sorry he was absent when Bradford called today. A telegram came from Dr Nabarro last Friday through the Foreign Office asking to immediately be sent Laveran's latest work on Surra and Nagana. James was not aware of any separate work by Laveran of recent date and concluded that what was wanted were the two papers in the Annales de l'Institut Pasteur from 1902. Asks if Bradford knows of anything above these references. If so, James will have them sent to Uganda at once.
Dr Christy is expected to send in towards the end of this week, his report on the work he was commissioned to do by the Sleeping Sickness Committee, and Foster has instructed James to forward it for Bradford's perusal. |
