DescriptionIn reply to the Messrs letter of 18 September the report of Sir Humphry Davy referred to was published in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' 1816.

Some of the publications of the Society are now being sent to the Naturwissenschaftlicher Verein, Bremen, but should they not have the 'Transactions' for 1816 it is possible that the Foreign Agents of the Royal Society, Messrs Friedlander & Sohn, Buchhandlung, 6 Karlstrasse 11, Berlin, may be able to inform them where these are kept on file in Germany.
