TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to the Secretary, British South Africa Company
Date9 October 1903
DescriptionHas just ascertained from Professor George Darwin that he understands the Rhodesian Geodetic Expedition have an outfit of surveying wires and that the two and a half meter standard and accessories are all that they require. It will not therefore be necessary for Messrs Troughton & Simms to supplement it as Larmor suggested in his letter a few days ago. It remains for the Secretary to instruct the Mesrs to pack it up to be forwarded to Rhodesia [Zimbabwe].
