TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Richard Tetley Glazebrook, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date26 June 1903
DescriptionThe questions relating to the magnetic and meteorological observations taken in connection with the Antarctic Expedition have been referred by the Council, so far as the Royal Society is concerned, to a special Committee consisting of Dr Chree, Captain Creak, Mr W H Dines, Professor [Joseph] Lamor, Dr W N Shaw, Captain Tizard, and Mr C T Wilson. The Committee are to take such steps as they think most suitable for dealing with the observations as they come in. A later question raised by Captain Creak as to continuing the simultaneous observations in Great Britain has been referred to the Committee.

No Chairman has yet been appointed to the Committee but Harrison suggests it best to direct communications to Professor Larmor for the present as he will no doubt take the initiative in convening meetings of the Committee.
