TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Francis Galton, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date8 December 1903
DescriptionThe Society has received a paper by Dr Monckton Copeman, 'Observations on the Sex of Mice', and the question of its acceptance for reading and publication were referred to the Chairman of the Sectional Committee for Zoology, Mr Bateson. Encloses a letter from Bateson [not enclosed] in which Bateson expresses some doubts about the paper in its present form and suggests it is sent to Galton with a request that Galton says it is should be read and published in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. Sir M Foster suggests they might call on the author to bear the expense of having the paper typewritten.
