TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Henry Alexander Miers, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date18 January 1904
DescriptionHarrison responds to Miers letter to inform him that the usual method, in a case such as he mentions, would be to provide Professor Groth with clichés of the figures from his paper. The advantage over reproducing them from the originals being the significantly reduced cost and the ease with which Harrison could order them from the printers, further noting formal sanction of the Council is required for original drawings to be sent out from the Royal Society. If Miers agrees then Harrison will order the clichés to be sent to Groth or Miers as directed.
