TitleCopy letter from Professor Joseph Larmor, to Sir William de Wiveleslie Abney
Date11 February 1904
DescriptionLarmor explains that they held back H Dennis Taylor's paper pending the decision of the Mathematical Committee, and understands that they have communicated this directly to Abney. He clarifies that it is not suitable for Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, but suggests it may be better suited to a technical journal, rather than as an abstract in Proceedings of the Royal Society, and so Abney may wish to withdraw it for the purpose before it is officially read by the Royal Society. They will defer the matter until they hear from him.
