TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir H Truman Wood, Secretary, Society of Arts
Date16 February 1904
DescriptionHarrison has delayed in responding to Wood's offer of a set of the Official Catalogue of the International Exhibition of '62 until he could consult with his superior Officers, but notes that the Royal Society will have to decline the kind offer on the grounds of overcrowding in the Society's library. He notes that they already have to stack books on the floor due to lack of shelf room, and so often have to decline offers that they might otherwise wish to accept.
