TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Librarian, University College of North Wales
Date25 February 1904
DescriptionHarrison apologises for the delay in responding to the Librarian's letter, and explains that he referred their enquiry to the Director of the Central Bureau of the International Catalogue, to whom it should have been addressed, who quotes the rule the International Council adopted to the effect that technical matters of scientific interest be included in the catalogue under appropriate scientific headings. Although the term 'Applied Mathematics' is not very precise, Harrison suggests that relevant entries using that term will be found among the Mathematics, Mechanics and Physics groups of the International Catalogue.
