TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor William Dobinson Halliburton, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date9 March 1904
DescriptionHarrison writes on the instructions of Archibald Geikie, explaining that two physiological referees have reported on 'Mechanical and electrical response in plants' by Professor Bose, with Sir John Burdon Sanderson advising against publication, and Dr Bayliss in favour. Geikie believes the Paper should now go to a third referee, and asks Halliburton to nominate someone. The communicator of the Paper, Professor Vines, has suggested either Professor Langley or Professor Sherrington as acceptable options.
