TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Professor Henry Selby Hele Shaw, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date18 March 1904
DescriptionLarmor states that the referees reports on the paper by Shaw and Dr Alfred Hay have been received and await the Committee, and summarises the main points made by the referees regarding illustration of the hydrodynamic method and their belief that it would be more suitable for Proceedings of the Royal Society than for Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society. Larmor informs Shaw of this before the paper has been read, as if he wishes it to be published in full in a technical engineering journal he will need to withdraw it before it has been formally read.
