TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Professor Ernest William Brown, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date15 April 1904
DescriptionLarmor states that he understands the reasons given in Brown's letter of 6 April for hesitating to accept the representation of the Royal Society at the Jubilee of Wisconsin University, but that he finds hope in the last sentence that he has not made a final decision. The Society still wishes that Brown might represent them.

They are preparing an Address to the Wisconsin University which they will send to Brown. If he is unable to attend the celebration in person, Larmor asks that he forward it in the name of the Royal Society.
