TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to E Howarth, Public Museum, Sheffield
Date16 April 1904
DescriptionHarrison responds to Howarth's request for the loan of volume 20 of Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, to consult a paper by Sir Hans Sloane, to inform him that no communication from Sloane exists in that volume, and furthermore that the introduction of a Fellow would be needed for him to borrow such an early volume of the journal. He suggests that Howarth could arrange this formality through Dr Henry Clifton Sorby, Professor William Mitchinson Hicks or another Fellow resident in Sheffield.
