Description | Harrison explains he has had difficulty in finding any Paper matching that referred to in Pio's letter of 7 December. He notes the date of the Paper's despatch given in Pio's letter, suggests he has accidently given the year as 1903, but in any case he was out of the country, before firmly stating that he has found no sign of the Paper referred to. He asks that Pio returned the postcard he received at the time bearing Harrison's name, and asks that he supply dates of other papers he has presented to the Royal Society and received opinions on, as the procedure he describes is contrary to their regular practice. |
