| Description | Harrison seeks Boys' opinion on two proposed exhibits for the Ladies Soirée. One by Professor Flinders Petrie, requires very little space, and so room could be found if Boys considers it to be of interest. He states that more information is needed prior to a decision being made about Cowper-Coles' exhibit, especially the nature of the process and its suitability for the Ladies Soirée, with skirts 'swishing about'. He further reflects that Coles exhibit of galvanising at the May Soirée 'savoured rather too much for a trade show', and asks for Boys' opinion. Although the Soirée Committee decided not to repeat it, but the present proposition is different.
Harrison asks that he return the two enclosed letters. |
