Description're Investment of Gassiot Balance
I find that the balance in hand on this account is £228.5.2. after providing for the recent purchase of bonds. Do you approve of my requesting bankers to invest £225 in Console. I make out that we should then still have a floating annual income of about £17 to meet small expenses, such as increase in cost of bonds withdrawn, etc. If you don't think this enough perhaps we had better invest only £200'.
