TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to R Bruce Low, Local Government Board
Date8 October 1904
DescriptionColonel David Bruce has handed Geikie Low's letter relating to the salary of Dr Johnston, or his substitute, should he be required to devote a week or ten days to the preparation of a report on his work in connection with the investigation of Malta Fever. There can be no doubt that the preparation of such a report should be regarded as a necessary part of the duties, and Geikie cannot imagine that there will be any difficulty in continuing the present arrangement as to salary until Johnston is able to resume his ordinary duties under the Local Government Board.
