DescriptionProfessor [Jagadis Chunder] Bose recently returned a revised copy of his paper 'On Mechanical and Electrical Response in Plants'. Professor [William Dobinson] Halliburton, referred the question to one of the original referees, Professor E Waymouth Reid, and now Halliburton leaves further action in the hands of the Secretaries. Sending Darwin the revised manuscript and all other papers relating to it, as Professor Joseph Larmor has already seen them.
