TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Major Percy Alexander MacMahon, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date14 June 1904
DescriptionThere is a long memoir here by E T Dixon, 'On the Theory of Order', which has to find a communicator. Larmor explains he is unwilling to undertake it, as Dixon has form for asking for the paper back for copying if it is not accepted, and letting a manuscript leave the premises after being read is unprecedented. Dixon suggests MacMahon knows his work and will take on the responsibility of presenting it.
