DescriptionRegarding their enquiry concerning Sir William Herschel's paper, Harrison begs to say that many, but not all, of the parts of the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' from 1780 to 1820, in which are these papers, are still on sale. Nusl should provide him exactly which papers he desires. Concerning the Newton MSS, there is a MS of the Principia and letters, etc. There are MSS in the library of Trinity College, Cambridge, the Bodleian Library and in the possession of the Earl of Portsmouth.
