TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt], Fellow of the Royal Society
Date3 January 1905
DescriptionSending a letter from the Treasury [no enclosure], and both the Treasurer and Sir Archibald Geikie think it is very important that it should be considered by the Executive Committee of the National Physical Laboratory before the meeting of the Council on the 19 January. They suggest calling a special meeting, since it appears that the additional grant of £5000 offered for this year depends upon a favourable answer to the last paragraph of the letter. A reply should be sent to the Treasury as soon as possible. Sending it on to Dr Richard Tetley Glazebrook also.
