TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Editor of 'Nature'
Date16 April 1889
DescriptionRix presents his compliments, and sends a copy of the qualifications of candidates to which Mr Lockyer is entitled as a Fellow of the Royal Society. Rix does not know the views of the Officers as to the publication of these qualifications and wishes to make clear that the Editor is acting entirely under his own responsibility unless he has had private communication with the Secretaries on the matter. Rix provides the address of Michael Foster, should it necessary to seek his permission.
