TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster
Date24 April 1889
DescriptionProvides updates on papers submitted to the Royal Society.

Rix asks if he should set up the paper Professor Thomas Henry Huxley communicated by Dr Beard on 'Lepidosteus osseus' for 'Proceedings of the Royal Society', and if he should set up the abstract of the paper William Turner Thiselton-Dyer communicated on the 'Assimilation of carbon by green plants' by E H Acton. Rix notes that the paper by John Scott Haldane and Marcus Seymour Pembrey has been set up, with the proof going to Haldane today.

Rix has heard from Mr Gowers, and thanks Foster for writing to him. Mr Hulke asked to see Rix's wife, but can do nothing.
