| Description | Rix states he is 'astonished' to discover that Mr Bourne has issued a notice for a general meeting of the M.B.A. [Marine Biological Association] at the Royal Society on 8 May at 4.30pm without consulting him at all. As Foster knows, there is no availability that day, and more crucially a press view including lantern slides is being shown in the meeting room at exactly that time. Even the small room usually used for their meetings is in use, and Rix states that Bourne's arrangements are impossible.
Rix has written to suggest retaining the time, but changing the location to somewhere like the Crimean Society, and recommends that Foster also sends a message as well. |
