DescriptionHis estimate for the spectrum for [George Downing] Liveing and [James] Dewar's paper is accepted, to be black on white, with the lettering and scale to be white on black. It is to be cut throught at line 4000, and the halves placed below each other to run the length of the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' page. The black patch on the right hand side is to be continuous to the end of the diagram, and continued right if necessary, with no white to appear at the right hand side.
