TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to A P Wire, The Librarian, Essex Field Club, Buckhurst Hill, Essex
Date21 February 1889
DescriptionIn response to his application for an exchange of publications, Rix is able to inform him that at the meeting of the Library Committee last December the Essex Field Club were placed on a list of institutions recommended to receive the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society', and this has since been sanctioned by the President and Council of the Royal Society.

Rix remarks that they will perhaps have received some already, and that they will continue to be posted. He states that the 'Essex Naturalist' is appreciated, and they would be glad to continue receiving it.
