Description'Please send us a man to help all day at preparing for our Soirée on Wednesday next June 19th. He must be here by 9 a.m. and stay till 11 or 12 at night. We shall provide tea ^&^ supper, & allow 1s/ [one shilling] for dinner. If you can spare us the tall man who takes the lead generally in the window cleaning here we shall be most obliged. He is a good worker & reliable man, and knows the house'.
