TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Mr Collings, care of Messrs T P Collings & Company, 172 Strand, W.C.
Date22 June 1889
DescriptionRix explains that the matter of Dr Robert Lendlmayer von Lendenfeld's debt to him was discussed at the Committee last week, and they have since sent a letter which they hope will prompt the money he is owed. In the meantime, the Committee have decided to grant him the three pounds, ten shillings and ten pence, remaining from the grant for illustration, and ask that this be deducted from his account against Lendenfeld.

Rix hopes that he is 'inclined to be thankful for small mercies', and encloses the cheque.
