TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, [Secretary, Royal Society]
Date28 June 1889
DescriptionEncloses an instalment of Royal Society Council minutes [not included].

The rest are with the printers, with the exception of the one enclosed [not included], about which Rix wishes to ask for instructions. It is not exactly a minute of what was done, and as such cannot be voted upon as correct. On the publication committee for October 1886 and elsewhere, the President declined to sign minutes containing a document of this kind, and signed above the document, so Rix proposes that they say 'A draft prepared by Prof Lankester was submitted to the meeting, upon which the following letter is based [insert letter].'.

Rix encloses a letter from Dr Robert Lendlmayer von Lendenfeld and awaits Foster's instructions.
