Description | In response to Lendenfeld's letter of 25 June, Rix is able to say that once the binders have finished work on his monograph, the Royal Society will send him three copies. The following nine, due for despatch to Lendenfeld, will be sent once Mr Collings has confirmed that he has received payment for his woodcuts, executed upon Lendenfeld's order. Although the Society bears no legal responsibility for Collings, the Officers feel they should ensure the discharge of such a debt. |
