TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Wesley & Son, 28 Essex Street, Strand, W.C.
Date15 July 1889
DescriptionIn response to their letter of 13 July, Rix states that the numbers mentioned in their order are inclusive, and the order is to be followed until countermanded.

They are aware of the irregularity of the publication of the titles listed, which was probably the source of their former agent's difficulties, but suggest that they ask the publishers to either advise them upon publication or automatically post the numbers as are they are issued. Rix notes that the Royal Society would be willing to pay extra for postage if it will mean their collection upon publication will not be left to chance.
