TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to John Evans, Treasurer, Royal Society
Date18 July 1889
DescriptionRix reports that Mr Few has sent the final proof of the Lawes Trust Deed. He believes that Evans wants 250 copies, and asks if these are to be bound in cloth; and if so, whether he wants limp covers or boards. Rix encloses two Government Grant cheques payable out of the 500 pounds reserved, and asks that they be signed and returned to him.

A postscript notes that Rix is uncertain as to whether Lord Walsingham has been communicated with, but in case he has not, a letter is enclosed [not included], which is to be posted or destoyed depending on circumstances. Rix also asks about the enclosed cutting [not included] from the Council meetings about receipt forms.
