TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Drake & Gorham
Date23 July 1889
DescriptionRix asks approximately how much it would cost to put in the new sections [to the engine], as if the cost is not large he will do it on his own responsibility. He notes that the Treasurer, John Evans, is out of town and the funds are low. Rix also asks if any degeneration would be caused by the cells being left idle for the six weeks that the Society's officers will be absent from town.

Rix notes that they can do without electric light for a couple of months if necessary.
