TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Autotype Company, 74 New Oxford Street
Date29 July 1889
DescriptionIn response to their letter of 24 July, Rix asks to have a new estimate for the photographs only, as the drawings will be done by ordinary lithography. The author will supply the negatives to work from, and Rix will put them in communication as soon as they have an estimate agreed to by the Royal Society's officers. The estimate is to be for 1000 copies and include paper and other extras.

Rix returns their specimens and his proof plate, the latter of which will be needed for a pattern to match the colour of their plate-paper.
