TitleCopy letter from Alfred H White, to the Rev Stephen Joseph Perry, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date2 August 1889
DescriptionWhite notes that they have posted revised proofs of Lieutenant Masterman's plate, and the proof and original of Mr Osburn's drawing for the woodcut. He asks that in return Perry instruct them how to deal with the accompanying notes, as the printers may not be clear on what to do. Once these instructions have been received his report will go for revise.

White outlines the supposed structure, listing Perry's report first, followed by Masterman's notes and the descriptive notes, with Osburn's notes and drawing coming last. He also records that Herbert Rix is currently on holiday.
