TitleCopy letter from Alfred H White, to Captain Darwin, 18 Wetherby Place. South Kensington, S.W.
Date7 August 1889
DescriptionWhite notes that the printers have returned revises of the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' eclipse paper, and asks if the proofs are to go to Darwin or Professor Arthur Schuster. Furthermore, the lithographers have also returned revises of the spectrum plate, which were due to go to Schuster but have been sent to the Royal Society as Schuster is moving around.

White states that there is no need to hurry in the matter, as the photograph plate will not be ready for some time.
