TitleCopy letter from Alfred H White, to Messrs West, Newman & Company
Date29 August 1889
DescriptionWhite communicates the views of the Royal Society Treasurer, John Evans, on their estimate for Arthur William Rücker and Thomas Edward Thorpe's 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' paper, stating his belief that the 24 pounds quoted for the 12 quarto plates is higher than need be, and asking if they would be done four on stone. Evans also wishes for the other estimates for the two shaded map plates to be revised.

Their estimate for Richard Threlfall and John Frederick Adair's paper in 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' is accepted, and White is posting them the drawings.
