TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Peter Martin Duncan, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date17 September 1889
DescriptionRix informs Duncan that his letter about the Echinoidea was brought before Council on 16 May, and referred to the Challenger Commiteee. The Committee met on 23 May, and Dr Michael Foster noted that a resolution was passed to the effect that if Duncan will provide the names of the species, Mr Murray will see if they are in the Challenger Office. If Duncan has not received word of this news from Foster, he should let Rix know, as he will remind Foster and ask if any news has been received from Mr Murray.

Rix encloses a formal receipt for Duncan's subscription, paid 15 August.
