TitleCopy letter from an unknown correspondent, to Messrs Whiteman & Bass, 235 High Holborn
Date4 March 1889
DescriptionSends the lettered and corrected plates [not included] of Professor William Crawford Williamson's paper, noting it it will be unnecessary to send revises to the author but that they wish to see a set before printing is begun. Asks that they put the lettering in with care so as to avoid the expense of correcting it.

Also includes a spare proof of one of West Newman's plates, and asks that they imitate the style of headline to ensure conformity in the volume.
