TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to Monsieur Louis Pasteur, Membre de l'Institute, Foreign member of the Royal Society
Date7 March 1889
DescriptionIn relation to correspondence between Pasteur and Dr James Paget, the President and Council of the Royal Society, at their recent meeting, adopted a resolution that the subject of the Croonian Lecture this year will be 'preventive inoculation' based on observations from the Pasteur Laboratory and delivered by Dr Pierre Paul Émile Roux, Chef de Service au Laboratoire.

They will make it known that Pasteur hopes to be in attendance, health permitting, and Foster hopes they will have the pleasure of seeing him. May is proposed as the most convenient time, but Pasteur is invited to propose a time convenient to himself.
