TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to William Topley, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date10 October 1889
DescriptionRix encloses receipts for Topley's cheque.

He also explains that the list of Royal Society Fellows will not be issued until the end of the year. The 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' are only delivered to Fellows who have made an application for their regular delivery, which is then filed, and the volumes sent out when issued. However, the volumes are only published once a year. Rix explains that Topley can get them more frequently if he elects to have separate numbers, with there currently being one part which they can send as soon as they receive his order.
