TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Captain Samuel Pasfield Oliver, Anglesey, Gosport
Date11 October 1889
DescriptionRix will gladly do what he can to assist in the matter of Oliver's letter of 10 October, but he suspects that will be little. The Royal Society has no letters from [François] Leguat; no obvious letters from Sir Hans Sloane to Leguat, though there are two to unknown correspondents; and no painting or engraving of Leguat.

Rix returns Sir George Airy's letters to Mr Walter White and Oliver.
