TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to John Joly
Date22 October 1889
DescriptionRix sends originals and two proofs of the photographs in his paper. He notes that a purely photographic process will not show sufficient detail, and that after trying several processes they have sent examples which are photographed onto stone and engraved. Rix asks that they be examined and returned with his opinion on the process chosen. If Joly approves, he is to send the negatives to Messrs Waterlow after he has informed Rix of his verdict.
