TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Michael Foster, [Royal Society]
Date2 November 1889
DescriptionDr Lendenfeld has sent Rix a list if those who have acknowledged receipt of the monograph. Rix had wondered why all the men listed sent acknowledgements to Lendenfeld, but has realised that he must have written to them all and given the impression that he was presenting the books. Rix asks for approval to send a postcard to correct this impression, which will also assist in tracing those that have not yet arrived.
