TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr William Marcet, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date5 November 1889
DescriptionRix notes that Mr White is sending him revises of Marcet's plates.

He states that the Royal Society Officers believe that, owing to the extensive alterations to the preliminary plans for the plates, some of the cost should be borne by Marcet himself. The total cost of corrections is 30 shillings, and the Treasurer believes a fair division to be 20 shillings from Marcet, and 10 shillings to be paid by the Society. The 10 shillings reflects the average cost of corrections for such plates. Messrs West, Newman & Company will send a bill to Marcet for his share of the costs, which can be paid direct to them.
