TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Robert Lendlmayer von Lendenfeld, Universität, Innsbruck
Date5 November 1889
DescriptionDr Michael Foster has instructed Rix to respond to Lendenfeld's letter of 25 October, to state that the Royal Society Officers are unwilling to re-open the presentation list for Graf Grundakes-Wurmbrand to receive a copy of the monograph. The Treasurer has also asked Rix to remind him that the engraver has still not received payment for the woodcuts.

Rix is glad that a few more people have received their copies of his book, and is doing his best to trace undelivered copies. The delay appears to have been at the Continental end, with the exception of the dockers' strike.
