| Description | In reply to the Messrs of this morning, Harrison has referred to Professor [Joseph] Larmor as to how to deal with the matter of Maclaurin & Lyons' papers. Does not think it would be worth while setting them up on the demy octavo form, and it is possible they may not require them in type for the meeting. Hopes it will not be necessary to wait as long as three weeks before they can set the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' in the new style. The Society expects to conclude the current volume of 'Proceedings' about the middle of February, from which time they should immediately launch into the new series. Hopes the Messrs will use every means to expedite deliver of the type. |
