TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Harry Marshall Ward, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date10 February 1905
DescriptionHorace Brown's report on Dr Ewart's paper has come in and recommends publication but suggests certain amendments in form. Professor Larmor and Mr Darwin have both seen the report and the letter suggests that some of the referee's criticisms be communicated to the author, not as absolute conditions, but so as to give him an opportunity of improving the paper. Has drafted the enclosed letter to Dr Ewart [not enclosed] and shall be much obliged by Ward looking over it and saying if it can be dispatched. Horace Brown was the third referee appointed by the Committee and both the previous referees were in favour of publication.
