TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to R A Hadfield
Date18 January 1905
DescriptionIn reply to Hadfield's enquiry of 16 January, the copies of papers read at the Society are sent to the editors of journals at the request of paper authors. Sir James Dewar signed for Hadfield and Dewar's joint paper and copies were ordered to be sent to 'Nature', 'Chemical News', et cetera, but no technical trade journal was included in the list.

Should any other journal reproduce a paper, but state at the same time that it was a paper 'read before the Royal Society', the principal condition upon which the Society insists would be fulfilled. Encloses a letter from 'Ice & Cold Storage' relating to this subject received today [not enclosed], and referring to Hadfield's joint paper.

Hadfield should receive 150 private copies of his paper in the course of the next week.
