DescriptionIs desired by the Treasurer [Alfred Bray Kempe], to ask if he will be good enough to open a separate account with the Royal Society to be called the 'Special Funds Account', into which monies received by the Society which they wish to keep distinct from their General Purposes, and which nevertheless are not in the nature of permanent trusts, may be paid. It would be desirable to have a separate pass book and cheque book for this account. Encloses a cheque for £120, to be placed to the credit of the Special Funds Account under the heading 'Antarctic'.
